• What's that?: Handmade wooden laptop stand in a set with a wooden diary.
• What is it made of?: You can choose from oak, walnut or ash wood.
• What does it do?: The diary helps you capture and organise your thoughts and preserve them for years to come. The stand can lift your laptop four inches so you can comfortably rest your hands on it and write or surf anywhere, even when you're not at your desk. Thanks to the rubber stop and cork feet, your laptop won't go anywhere on the pad.
• What it's for?: The stand serves to keep your laptop cooler while you use it. And also to increase the comfort and ergonomics of working on the PC and to prevent carpal tunnel. Simply to keep your hands and back from hurting and your computer from falling over. A diary will ensure that in the digital age you have your own space to create, dream and come up with ideas that belong to you and you alone. No cloud, no social media, no photos - just you and paper.

Freelancers, creatives, nomads, flexi employees and entrepreneurs, save money on massages. Today's digital world is all about one thing. All we need is a laptop and we can work from anywhere. From the office, from home, remote from Croatia or the Tatras. But if you've ever tried to work from a café for a few hours, you'll agree that after a while your neck, shoulders, neck, and in short, your whole person, will get carried away. So how to solve it? You can get a stand. Well, there's more to it than that.

We have worked in various places ourselves. From the relatively normal ones, such as a bed, a train, the aforementioned café or a makeshift box on a table in pandemic times, to the strange ones. Like the plaza in Havana, Cuba, where wifi is on a special card, secret police go everywhere and disconnect you every 20 minutes. But more on that another time. In short, we know that such a stand has to be able to withstand something, be ready in a few seconds and, most importantly, be extremely light and foldable. But most we've tested over the last few years have fallen short in at least one aspect. The folding one is guaranteed to take forever to unfold, just when you need it most, the stick-on origami designer one you have to buy again with a new machine, and the all-plastic one is, to put it politely, an ''aushus'' that puts extra strain on the planet.

And so we thought we needed to make a product of our own to solve this dilemma. We have the Treed Laptop Stand - a sleek wooden laptop stand up to 15'', complete with cork feet and a natural rubber stop. Plus, it comes with a hand-sewn linen carrying bag made by a lady from Mohelnice. This is a must have. And we've thrown in an added bonus, a treed diary.

The diary is such an outdated form for the digital generation - we have notes on our mobile phones or computers, right? But regular handwriting, according to a number of studies, can boost memory, attention and creativity. And it pays off. A nice bonus is that no one can see into your intimate notes. They're not online, so they can't be hacked, they don't belong to any multinational company, and they don't cease to exist when the internet goes down. So, you ready to go?

Product pedigree

The packaging is plastic-free from low-impact cardboard and we also print it in Šumperk. The stand and the diary were designed by Roman, handmade by Monika and Mirek, the cover was designed by Lucie and the text was written by Tomáš. The anti-slip rubber is from Znojmo. The linen fabric for the carrying bag is from Sudkov near Šumperk and the whole thing was made by a very nice lady Hanka from Mohelnice.
